KSK Foundation: Empowering Young People for a Better Future
KSK Foundation is a registered Non-Governmental Organization headquartered at Plot 24A Hannington Road, Kampala, Uganda. Since its founding in 2011, the Foundation has championed Leadership, Innovation and Enterprise as pillars for community empowerment and poverty eradication.
Our Mission
To equip young people with practical, real-world skills in leadership, innovation and enterprise — turning potential into competitive, career-ready talent.
Our Approach
Each KSK Foundation program pairs structured curriculum with mentorship from working professionals. Cohorts are intentionally kept small and selective, with participants shortlisted through structured interviews and scored assessments so facilitators can give real, individual attention.
Programs culminate in a practical showcase — a Hackathon, a project pitch, or a graduation ceremony — where participants demonstrate what they've built, not just what they've learned.
Our Pillars
Leadership
Developing self-awareness, accountability and the confidence to lead.
Innovation
Building problem-solving skills through applied, project-based learning.
Enterprise
Nurturing entrepreneurial thinking, financial literacy and business acumen.

Our History
Founded in 2011, KSK Foundation has grown its programming from a single initiative into a portfolio of three flagship programs: the Making Students World Ready Program, now in its eighth season, the Financial Services Academy, and the Kaizen Teen Boot Camp.
Over the years the Foundation has also supported scholarship placements at King's College Budo, Gayaza High School and Masaka School of the Deaf, and contributed to community initiatives such as literary and civic events.
Our Story
Today, KSK Foundation designs and delivers flagship youth programs, administers scholarships for deserving students, and publishes FOCUS Magazine, all in service of building a generation of young Ugandans who are confident, skilled and ready for the world.
Our Values
Integrity
We promote accountability and responsible leadership as young people develop the confidence to lead.
Growth
We focus on practical learning, mentorship and real-world skills that turn potential into career-ready talent.
Community
We empower communities through youth development, scholarships and initiatives that create opportunities for young Ugandans.
